Tour Description: Paddle the beautiful
north shores of Lesser Slave Lake while experiencing
the many sights and sounds. Enjoy this 3-6
hour paddle which will be leaving from the Beach of Diamond Willow Family Resort.
Directions: Travel North on Highway 88 for 28km from Slave Lake. Turn left at Diamond Willow Resort sign. Follow road
until you hit a "T" intersection. Turn right and then take your first left into the campground.
Suggested equipment to bring includes:
-Shorts
-Shoes that can get wet (runners, sandals, wetsocks or even just bare feet)
-Sun gear (sun screen, hat, sunglasses)
-T shirt or quick dry shirt if long sleeved.
-Water bottle filled with water
-Sweater or fleece
-Rain/wind shell
-Bathing suit (if lake is good swimming temp!)
Note; everyone will be provided a "dry bag" to place items they need handy on top of the kayak e.g. camera,
sunscreen, bird book. The kayaks have water proof hatches for extra clothes and things too.
